Recording Equipment

Todd bought a presonus firepod in late 2006. We may have even used it to record the last bits of Fallen (I can't remember). But there were problems with it. It seems the firewire port is very sensitive, and is damaged easily. Even so, I have decided to purchace a second one. So I can do some recording here at home and also they can be daisy chained when we want to record the whole band! Apparently it is on it's way from Toronto. I'm waiting ...

I actually got it a few days ago and am working on an archived porject that I abandoned 2 years ago. Amazingly I have finished the vocals and am slowly just sprucing things up. The firepod is good!

The firepod is getting a workout! I have finished about 4 Softbox demos. About half of another metal style demo. A bunch of keyboard stuff I re-recorded and a song for my mom! Todd said I should bring it over and we could hook them up together and try and record something live off of the floor. I'm not sure when this crazy attempt will be but I am all for it!

I have recorded alot of stuff on the firepod but I think my old computer is starting to give out. Time to save up for a new one.
