Amon Armath in Saskatoon

Todd the lucky bugger is going to see Slayer in about 3 weeks and about a week after that he and I are going to see Amon Armath. Not sure who else is playing but I know it will be good. I will post my stupid comments about this soon.

It was an awesome show! The funny thing is I did not know many songs but they all grew on me immediately. They played 2 sets! The first set consisted of the Satur Rising CD from start to finish, then after a short break they played classic AA for over an hour. The light show had me almost in epileptic seisures and the sound was crystal clear instead of harsh and while loud was not deafeningly loud. Also met Adrien there, someone I hadn't seen in probably 20 some years! We did a short catch up before the show and after he gave me some disks of which he had doubles one of which was Satur Rising. I knew Todd enjoyed the show, especially when he started fervently singing along to some songs (Thunder God anyone?). Sometimes the circumstances before and after the show can really paint the night in a bad night, but too many good and cool things happened that night. So even when we got a parking ticket I wasn't too upset. This night will definately have a place in the best nights ever catagory. Also Satur Rising has not left the CD player in the truck and it has been almost 3 weeks!
