Voivod Dimention Hatross

I am a huge fan of Voivod so I decided to finally upgrade some of the Voivod albums from cassette to CD. I only need a few of the earlier ones on CD (basically from Angel Rat and older) I decided to get Dimention Hatross because for some reason it was one that didn't really click for me till much later. Listening to it now I think I know why. It has many hardcore punk elements fused with metal and jazz. The melodies that snake sings are at times unimaginative, but all together it works. Although not my favorate album, it was another giant step towards what they would become. Besides who has song titles like "Macrosolutions to Microproblems"?!
