Skull Fist

Although I am working that night, I hope to see Skull Fist Aug the 13. I may miss some of the earlier bands (sorry Darius) but I don't want to miss the metal cheese fest. If I am lucky I will be able to catch the last bit of Celestial Machine or some of Jezebels Kiss.

Really disappointed Jezebel's Kiss is no longer on the bill, but I still intend to check it all out!

It was a great show! Celestial Machine played well, although Dave the anti-sound man, did his best to sabotage them. I really enjoyed A Gear in the Machine and Owldman. While there were a few fans, the majority of the crowd seemed mostly indifferent, but I suppose that is to be expected. Skull fist opened with a great Iron Maiden cover (of Iron Maiden) then did a bunch of originals. Everything would have been great except Dave bumped up the system and blew the breakers, half way through the song. When everything was turned back on they picked up right from where they left off. Then the breaker blew again, and again, and then again. By now the band was starting to get frustrated, but it seems fourth time is a charm and managed to finish thier set. The crowd rewarded them with a short round of polite applause, and it was all over.
