My Right

Our first fan CD was released Sep 2008. The idea was actually stolen from a friend of mine. Take one or two studio tracks along with some other stuff (live, alternate mixes ect.) put it on a CDR and sell it for dirt cheap! I passed the idea on to Todd and he figured we should do it. So we had been actually rehersing Interesting and parts of Machine and we were thinking these would be the songs that would go on the fan CD. But then we came up with what became Spiral and parts for Buried Alive and decided these songs might be better for an album. So one morning I woke up and just started working on something. By the time I had put the basic ideas together I knew this was the song we should use. Alot more punk infuenced than some of the other songs, this song was recorded almost in one day. We used the Todds brand new firepod and the software that came with it Cubase LE. We also used Todds electronic kit so we could record with out having to go through the painful process of getting drum sounds. I think I recorded 6 guitar tracks for this. Todd and I did our vocals and just relaxed and listened to the basic mix while we relaxed in the hot tub. Jamie did his bass parts about a week later. Todd mixed it and then we threw on two of the better sounding songs from our performance at the metal show in Aug 2008. We also made our first video for this song in Dec 2008.
